Below is a basic overview of constructing a copper bar top; more detailed instructions can be found here.
1. A copper bar top is constructed using our light 36 gauge copper sheets.
2. You can cut the 36 gauge copper with scissors or a utility knife and a straight edge.
3. Adhere the copper to a smooth wood surface such as MDF or plywood using standard contact cement.
4. Purchase our COPPERLAC lacquer that is specifically made for patina copper and apply a base coat to seal the surface.
5. Purchase our Commercial Bar Top Epoxy and pour a self-leveling flood coat on top that provides a 1/8in. durable surface.
